The news is all about our representatives (NOT leaders) coming back to work and biting at the bit to attack health care for millions of Americans.  While exercising (and fuming), the following came to me.

Then let them die and decrease the surplus population.

The republican stance on health care.

You want to talk about personal responsibility.  How can one have personal responsibility in an environment not of their own making, based on possessing money and discriminatory and destructive because they don't have enough money?

Today in America if you don't have money you can die because it is your personal responsibility to make enough to pay for your medical expenses (and those of your children).  Seriously?  On the surface, without any critical thinking, perhaps it sounds reasonable.  But not in a society that claims it is civilized and Christian, yet is built on the pursuit of more money as the purpose of life and is set up against human survival because of an inability to earn more or a lack of obsession with money.

In the Bible Jesus doesn't talk about homosexuality.  Jesus doesn't talk about black and white.  What does Jesus talk about?  The mighty dinar.  Serving two masters.  That kinda puts a priority on things, doesn't it.

Let's talk about personal responsibility.  What about the personal responsibility of being a Christian?   You may be a blessing to your loved ones, but your enemies may be a blessing to their loved ones too.   Let's look at the list of the fruits of the spirit:  love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.  Can we honestly say we reflect, or try to reflect, these fruits to all people?

One may be a great Christian with a toe just inside the line of written obedience.  But that is only word.  There is also Spirit. Does your Spirit go over the line and encompass all people?  Does your Spirit reflect only those who agree with your own understanding (and responsibility) of being a Christian?  And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.  Does your Spirit have love?

Then let them die and decrease the surplus population, says Scrooge, McConnel, Ryan, Trump, Pence.

Do you agree?

I am only human.  This means that I am very often not perfect.  This also means I am very often caught up in my own history, experience and point of view; which means all I can do is share - I am not right for everyone.

It seems sometimes we've forgotten that.  This world is made up of billions of unique personalities.  We are all different with our own experiences and needs, hopes and desires, dreams and visions.  What is right for one of us is not necessarily right for all of us.  We all don't wear the same style and size shoe.

Life is like that.  We all wear our own style and size.  And sometimes we learn, grow and change - hopefully wiser and kinder.  Our style changes as well.

So welcome to my blog.  Depending on the topic, I may seem angry or frustrated, other times I may be loving and kind.  Sometimes I'll just be silly.  One never knows.  Take it with a grain of salt and remember that I am simply human.

Thank you for stopping by and sharing your time with me.
