BE Human: Women’s Leadership in the age of AI

Technology is reshaping work, yet women are adopting AI at lower rates, threatening to widen gaps in leadership, pay, and influence. At the same time, effective leadership depends on human-centered skills rooted in emotional intelligence. In response, BE Human, ASU Thunderbird and the Impact Guild are developing a Women’s Leadership in the Age of AI program that combines storytelling with open-source curriculum for current and aspiring women in the creative industry.
Built on new curriculum developed by BE Human and ASU Thunderbird, participants gain practical AI capabilities alongside training in EQ, communication, and values-based decision-making—so they can lead teams, shape creative strategy, and stay competitive as tools evolve.
Distributing the program through the Impact Guild’s network of hundreds of impact-driven storytellers, creators, and media leaders, this program will not only expand opportunities for the women in the industry but will drive much larger impact in the hands of those who develop our cultural narratives.
Early implementation meets participants where they already work and collaborate: studios, writers’ rooms, music and production communities, and industry convenings; where AI development, media production, and cultural influence increasingly intersect, shaping how we see ourselves in relation to technology and influence.
Working through trusted partners including the Impact Guild and She Is The Music, BE Human creates high-trust learning hubs to shape culture at scale, then supports story development that models human-led AI adoption in ways that feel credible, optimistic, and grounded in creative practice.
This will be coupled with an outreach to the next gen of creative leaders through ASU and other university partners to support the pipeline. In addition, BE Human will help seed the launch of a fund that incentivizes women storytellers and creators to develop content that amplifies these messages.

In a world increasingly defined by technological acceleration, the next generation of leaders has the opportunity to shape a more human future.
Rooted in the belief that young leaders hold the wisdom and courage to recalibrate how technology is woven into our shared humanity, this initiative invites us to listen, celebrate, and learn from their ideas and how we can support wellness, mental health and conscious leadership for the next generation.
BE Human: Future Leaders is a global initiative designed to identify, celebrate, and support young changemakers who are integrating intentional human connection; empathy, awareness, collaboration and innovation into their daily lives.
Through storytelling, fellowship, and intergenerational dialogue, the initiative aims to re-center humanity at the heart of technological progress.
